Azure Migrate, which previously offered only discovery and assessment of VMs and SQL databases, has added integrated migration tools.
Azure Migrate now offers integrated access to several third-party migration tools.
A new Azure Migration Program can provide migration assistance to eligible customers from Microsoft and Microsoft partners.
Customers must still perform significant analysis, configuration, and testing before any migration to Azure.

Azure Migrate is a managed service that helps organizations inventory, assess, and migrate VMs and SQL databases to Azure. An updated version of the service now provides direct access to migration tools from Microsoft and ISVs and adds support for Hyper-V VMs in addition to VMware VMs. In contrast, the previous version of the service offered only limited assessment capabilities and no migration tools. A new Azure Migration Program could help eligible customers with migration tasks that cannot be automated by Azure Migrate.
