Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (RTI) is the streaming and event analytics component in Microsoft Fabric. Eventstreams ingest and transform event data from sources such as Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, IoT devices, and database change feeds. Data is stored in OneLake eventhouses, which can hold one or more Kusto Query Language (KQL) databases for analysis through KQL queries. Real-time dashboards and maps can visualize the data, and Fabric Activator can trigger alerts and actions when conditions occur. The Real-Time hub catalogs the organization’s streams and business events, and operations agents monitor data and recommend responses. The workload builds on Azure Data Explorer technology.
