Windows 365 offers Microsoft-hosted Windows virtual desktops, which Microsoft calls Cloud PCs, that are used and managed similarly to traditional physical devices with the Windows client OS.

Product: Windows 365 (Cloud PC) Overview

Licensing: Windows 365 Licensing

Windows 365 follows Microsoft’s Modern Lifecycle. It became generally available in Aug. 2021 and is currently in support (it does not have a known retirement date).

The Modern Lifecycle provides support for only current versions of software or online services. Although Microsoft sometimes discusses new features, and often provides them in some form of preview, the availability of a new feature in a preview does not accurately forecast when or if it may become generally available.

Because Windows 365 provides Windows client OS desktops and integrates with Intune, it is necessary to track those roadmaps as well to get a full picture of the service Roadmap for Windows 365.
