SidebarDeprecated and Removed Features
The following features have been removed, deprecated (meaning that they’re still available but will not be supported in the future), or are not supported in Office 2010, and therefore may affect migration to both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Office 2010:
The Access Replication Conflict Viewer has been removed from both the 32-bit and 64-bit installations of Office 2010, but the functionality can still be implemented by using the Visual Basic for Applications ReplicationConflictFunction.
The Publisher Works database converter used by Mail Merge to connect to a data source created in Microsoft Works has been removed.
Microsoft Office Document Imaging (Word) and all its components have been deprecated.
The legacy Equation Editor (Word) is not supported on 64-bit Office 2010 but is supported for 32-bit Office 2010 installations including those running on Windows-32-on-Windows-64, otherwise known as WOW64.
Word Add-in Libraries, which are add-ins for Word distributed as compiled DLLs, have been deprecated.
