The Palm-size PC is a pocket-sized, keyboardless device with a small screen that provides a calendar, appointment list, and address book. Casio’s color E-105 Casseopeia, shown above, has done well by adding built-in digital music and video playback. Microsoft hopes that entertainment capabilities like these will help expand the market for handheld devices and distinguish the Windows CE–based Palm-size PCs from Palm Computing’s top-ranked devices.
