The Azure Web PubSub service, in preview, enables high-scale, real-time client-server application communication.
It can ease developer burden for building applications that use, for example, live dashboards, text chat, and tracking maps.
It uses the popular WebSocket protocol, making it compatible with most browsers and servers.
It works with more programming languages than the similar Azure SignalR service, whose future is unclear.

The Azure Web PubSub service facilitates building applications that require real-time communications between clients and servers or across clients, and in particular Web and mobile applications that must support many client connections and high message throughput.
