GitHub Codespaces could improve developers’ ability to work on multiple projects, provide assistance on other projects, conduct code reviews, gain access to additional hardware capacity, and experiment with new technologies.

(GitHub Codespaces supplants an earlier preview offering called Visual Studio Codespaces, which in turn was originally called Visual Studio Online.)
