  • While Logic Apps targets enterprise business processes, Power Automate focuses more on end-user productivity workflows and robotic process automation (RPA) scenarios.

 

Logic Apps and Power Automate, two low-code workflow services from Microsoft introduced in 2016, share a number of characteristics, but target different users and scenarios. While Power Automate lets end users automate simple tasks such as filling in forms and managing approvals, Logic Apps targets scalable, enterprise-class automated business processes. Power Automate targets end users and less-experienced developers; Logic Apps usually requires developers and/or IT professionals to configure and deploy solutions.
