  • Microsoft Graph is the best-supported and most future-proof way developers can access Microsoft 365 services in applications or scripts.
  • Graph data export and import services help build applications that mash up Microsoft 365 with third-party services and on-premises systems.

Microsoft Graph is a collection of services that allows developers to access data and functions from Microsoft 365 (Office apps and services, Windows, and Enterprise Mobility + Security services) through a unified programming interface. The brand currently encompasses three services:

The Microsoft Graph API, which offers a single URL endpoint that wraps functions from APIs provided by Microsoft 365 services and Dynamics 365 Business Central services.

Data Connect, which enables high-volume data export from Microsoft 365 into Azure.

Connectors, which provide services for importing and indexing data from outside Microsoft 365 sources.
