Microsoft Defender External Attack Surface Management (EASM) is a Microsoft offering to help organizations secure their Azure infrastructure by finding externally vulnerable Azure resources. The service should arguably be a component of the Microsoft Defender for Cloud set of services.

Features of Defender EASM include:

Discovery of vulnerable assets in your Azure tenancy
Discovery and prioritization of risks, vulnerabilities, and threats
Dashboards to highlight security state.

Prerequisites: Azure subscription.

Availability: Defender EASM is generally available.

Licensing: Defender EASM is licensed per asset at US$0.011 per day, or US$4 per year.

Microsoft Defender for Business

Microsoft Defender for Business is a lower-priced tier of endpoint protection for smaller businesses that is largely comparable to Defender for Endpoint Plan 2.

Features of Defender for Business include all of the capabilities of Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 other than advanced hunting capabilities and offering simplified management.
