This chart summarizes the new Common Engineering Criteria for products shipping between July 2006 and June 2007, but it does not include exemptions and clarifications contained in the full criteria descriptions.

Criteria Description
Improved Feedback Platform Products shall use a standardized model for gathering, acknowledging, and acting upon user feedback.
IPv6 Support Products shall support IPv6 and shall be configurable to run in dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) or IPv6-only modes.
Web Services Adoption All new communication protocols between server products and client systems shall make some use of the WS-* specifications, including WS-Management.
Improved Diagnostics Products shall follow consistent guidelines for which events are raised, when those events are raised, and how they are raised. User privacy must be considered when raising an event.
Optimized for Active Directory Products must comply with the requirements listed in the “S1.0
