The product teams in charge of Microsoft’s online advertising platforms have some new leaders, and several longtime Microsoft executives, including Senior Vice President David Vaskevich, have left Microsoft.

Ad Leadership Changes

The product team in charge of developing the advertising platform for Microsoft Web sites has new leaders. The changes are the latest example of heavy churn in Microsoft’s online advertising business groups—since the beginning of 2009, several leaders from aQuantive, which Microsoft acquired in 2007, have left the company, and advertising sales has been moved from the Online Services Group to the sales force under Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner.
