Organizational fallout continues from Microsoft’s offer to acquire Yahoo, which has triggered reorganization and strategy shifts in its online services business. In particular, a longtime online services executive, Joanne Bradford, has left the company.

Joanne Bradford has left Microsoft and her post as corporate vice president and Chief Media Officer, MSN. She oversaw global sales and marketing for MSN, and ad sales for online properties that included Live.com, Office Live, Xbox Live, and Microsoft.com. Her former responsibilities will probably be divided among Satya Nadella, Bill Veghte, and Brian McAndrews. Bradford has been named executive vice president of national marketing services for Spot Runner, an advertising agency that specializes in TV placements for local businesses. She had been with Microsoft’s online services organization since 2001.
