Support ends for several versions of Internet Explorer (IE), the .NET Framework, and Windows on Jan. 12, 2016. Organizations that have not already migrated off these versions should have migration under way, or take mitigation steps, such as negotiating a custom support agreement with Microsoft.

IE. As of Jan. 2016, only the most recent version of IE available for any supported OS will receive technical support and security updates. That means only IE11 will be supported on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. Windows Server 2012 will then be the only version of Windows supported for use with IE10, and Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 will be the only versions of Windows supported for use with IE9.
