Not all editions of Office 2011 include all applications. Shown here are the different applications included in each of the four editions of Office for Mac 2011. Note that there are two editions labeled “Home and Business”: One sold only at retail that includes a client for Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger for consumers, and one sold only in volume licensing that includes Communicator, the client for the company’s Communications Server unified communications software and Communications Online subscription service for businesses. (The client, server, and online service are soon to be rebranded under the “Lync” name.)
