Virtualization Updated in the Desktop Optimization Pack

The latest release of the Desktop Optimization Pack (DOP, which Microsoft calls MDOP) updates two virtualization products, Application Virtualization (App-V) and User Experience Virtualization (UE-V). Released in Dec. 2014, the DOP 2014 R2 continues to make incremental improvements to features that make administration easier. For example, improvements to App-V 5.0 SP3 Connection Groups mean that a group of applications (that communicate among themselves) can be managed as a single package, and the UE-V 2.1 changes help synchronize settings between Windows-based devices.
