Power Pages allows the creation and hosting of some types of Web sites (typically externally facing) without expensive development resources. Its focus on external users and Web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) differentiates it from Power Apps.

Near-Term Roadmap (2026–2027)

Power Pages receives frequent updates that are announced and arrive in semiannual waves. Improvements that arrived in 2026 include:

A new admin security agent monitors Power Pages sites for threats such as phishing, denial-of-service attacks, and spam, and it can alert and protect against these breaches. The agent can also assist makers with configuring authentication and authorization for a site via natural language chat.

Telemetry and analytics that leverage Application Insights let administrators monitor site statistics, such as page views and session details. The capability can help track activity on Power Pages sites to see which are popular and how they’re used.
