Research Vice President, Microsoft Licensing
Directions on Microsoft is seeking a Microsoft licensing expert to join our rapidly growing Microsoft licensing training and reference guide business.
Your Responsibilities
- Research, understand, and communicate important shifts in Microsoft licensing, including product packaging, usage rights and rules, license compliance tracking and enforcement, and Microsoft’s volume licensing programs.
- Analyze how changes may impact Microsoft’s enterprise customers and partners, including ways that customers and partners can mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
- Contribute approximately 5,000 words per month to our research and analysis services and deliver briefings to our customers, including several multi-day Licensing Boot Camps annually.
- Stay up to date on Microsoft licensing programs and rules through reading, conversing with our customers, attending conferences, and maintaining an ongoing dialogue with our many contacts at Microsoft.
- Use your industry experience and acumen to separate substance from marketing hype, and make the complex seem simple without sacrificing accuracy.

- Bachelor’s Degree.
Candidates should also:
- Have significant domain expertise with Microsoft licensing
- Be comfortable interacting with IT executives, press, and Microsoft
