Starting Dec. 1, 2012, the composition of the Enterprise Client Access License (CAL) Suite will change, while the licenses included as part of the Core CAL Suite remain the same. The Enterprise CAL Suite continues to be a superset of the Core CAL Suite, and licenses for either suite can be purchased in either a per-device or per-user mode (using part numbers unique to each mode). Historically, both modes were priced the same, but moving forward, per-device CAL Suite license prices will remain constant but the equivalent per-user CAL Suite license will cost approximately 15% more than before. - The Exchange Server Standard CAL (far left) licenses access to the e-mail, calendar, and other basic Exchange features
