This chart lists some of the command-line tools included in Windows Server 2003. Some command-line tools included in Windows Server 2003 were previously part of the Windows Server Resource Kits.

Command-Line Tool Description
bootcfg Views or sets properties of a boot.ini file, which contains parameters that control how Windows starts
choice Selects choices from a menu during batch file execution
cipher Manages and configures encryption services
clip Redirect command-line output to clipboard
cmdkey Manages stored user names and passwords (pre-populated credentials)
driverquery Views drivers currently in memory
dsadd, dsget, dsmod, dsmove, dsrm Create, get (properties), modify, move, or remove Active Directory objects
freedisk Run batch file only if specified percentage of free space is available
gettype Determines OS version
gpresult Gets Resultant Set of Policy (RSOP), the settings that result
