Windows 2000 will be phased out over three years beginning Mar. 2004. The following chart shows the complete support life cycle dates for Windows 2000. The complete support life cycle begins with general availability and includes the dates by which customers can no longer purchase licenses or acquire disk kits, and dates by which mainstream and extended support end. Although the support end dates are based on a defined policy that applies to multiple products, the dates for withdrawing license and disk kit availability are not. Customers should not draw conclusions about other products based on these dates.
