Dynamics CRM 2015 became generally available in Dec. 2014 to both on-premises customers and Dynamics CRM Online customers. Dynamics CRM 2015 delivers new process-oriented sales user-interface forms, iPad sales interface, and Yammer integration. It also delivers new features for both online and on-premises, including improved integration with Office 2013 and Exchange Server 2013. Dynamics CRM 2015 drops support for Internet Explorer (IE) 8 and IE9, Office 2007, Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2, and SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2.

Another version of the software on-premises and online is expected near the end of 2015. The version is expected to see improvements to business process flows to handle complex processes and business intelligence enhancements. The Dynamics CRM team says it has adopted an annual release cadence for on-premises customers and a twice-yearly cadence for online customers. However, the team’s plans have changed frequently in the past.

The latest minor version of Dynamics AX, Dynamics AX 2012 R3, became generally available in May 2014. The version has new capabilities for warehouse and distribution functions, retail point-of-sale mobile solutions, procurement features to manage vendor requests and proposals, and budget planning improvements such as rule-based allocations and what-if scenarios.
