Charts & IllustrationsDynamics Partner Requirements
The Microsoft Partner Network (MPN), which launched in July 2010, introduces significant changes to the Dynamics channel, particularly for partners who want to gain recognition from Microsoft for a competency (which earns Silver partner status) or advanced competency (Gold partner status) in the MPN. The chart shows the requirements for partners who specialize in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) products, including required certifications; license revenue (either sold directly by the partner or influenced by the partner); partner success at renewing and recapturing revenue generated by the Business Ready Enhancement Plan (BREP, a maintenance plan for Dynamics customers, required for initial purchases of Dynamics products); customer references and satisfaction surveys; and partner service plans that enable partners to get technical support from Microsoft for their customers.
