Licensing Intune in Microsoft 365 Suites

The same level of Intune service (Intune Plan 1) is included with all Microsoft 365 suites. With most Microsoft 365 security and management services, the capabilities vary across Microsoft 365 suites; this is not the case with Intune. The Intune capabilities included with each of the four Microsoft 365 suites for enterprise businesses are identical, and limited to those included with Intune Plan 1, which is also available stand-alone for US$8 monthly per user. Organizations will typically acquire it through Microsoft 365 suites or the EMS suite.

Intune Plan 2 is an add-on to Intune Plan 1 offering two additional features primarily for non-Windows devices. This set of features will appeal to a small segment of Microsoft customers. Note that none of the features included in Plan 2 are available à la carte, only within Intune Plan 2, for an additional US$4 monthly per user.

Intune Suite monthly add-on User SLs are available stand-alone for US$10 per user licensed with Intune Plan 1 or suites that include it. All of the existing features included in the Intune Suite are also available à la carte, such as remote help, and only offer benefits for Windows devices.
