Timely Windows 10 deployment is dependent on the release dates and cadence of several tools and applications. Organizations relying on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager may need to update it prior to deploying a particular Windows 10 version. Likewise, there may be dependencies that limit which versions of Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise are supported on which versions of Windows 10. Finally, Microsoft releases Security Baselines and Administrative Templates, which provide guidance on how to configure settings for optimum Windows 10 security and deployment, and these are generally updated with each version of Windows 10.
