Each device managed by Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) requires an Operations Management License (OML). There are two types of OML’s-Standard, which covers the monitoring of most basic OS and networking functions, and Enterprise, which covers a superset including monitoring of Microsoft server applications and “premium” workloads, such as databases and terminal emulation. The accompanying chart lists the specific types of computer workloads covered by the two licenses.
