Two Per-Device subscriptions license users’ access to virtual desktops implemented using a Windows client OS running in virtual machines on servers. The two Per-Device options are a Windows Enterprise Upgrade with Software Assurance (SA) and a Virtual Desktop Access (VDA) license. As both the SA and VDA alternatives are subscriptions, access to the virtual desktop is allowed during the subscription term only.

Prices quoted represent the highest price a U.S.-based customer would pay: Open No Level price for the Windows Enterprise Upgrade with SA and Select Plus Level A for VDA (since it is not available through Open No Level). Prices are as of Aug. 2015.
