Charts & IllustrationsWindows 8 Multitouch Device Testing
A blog posting by the Windows 8 team listed the multitouch-enabled devices currently being tested with Windows 8. The blog posting indicates that device features such as bezel design, graphics, CPU, and cover glass, can impact the Windows 8 touch experience, but the team is “committed to supporting the hardware that is running with Windows 7 today and is working hard to bring a good experience to our customers who upgrade.”
The blog posting will be updated during the development cycle with progress on testing these systems, and it is likely that newer devices may be optimized to run Windows 8 better.
