Charts & IllustrationsWindows and Office Supportability Matrix
Combinations of Windows and Office have varying end-of-support dates. This chart shows the current end-of-support dates for combinations of Office and Windows versions.
Versions of Windows are listed vertically on the left; the second column shows the announced date where each version leaves Extended support.
Versions of Office are listed horizontally on the top. The second row shows the date where each version stops being supported for connectivity with Microsoft-hosted Office 365 services. The third row shows the announced date where each version leaves Extended support.
The box where each row and column intersect indicate the date where Microsoft will end support for that particular combination of Office and Windows versions. In some cases, this support may expire while the two product versions are individually supported.
* Windows 10 SAC and Office 365 ProPlus do not have specific end-of-support dates, but customers must update to a supported version within a defined support window to retain support.
