Charts & IllustrationsWindows Server 2008 Support
This chart lists System Center and Forefront applications and their compatibility with Windows Server 2008. “Runs on” means the product itself will run on the new server OS, while “Manages” means it can manage servers running the OS. Most products should be fully supported by the end of 2008; in the meantime, customers can use the planning tools to prepare for deployment. However, several older versions will not be supported on Windows Server 2008. (Dates refer to calendar years, not Microsoft fiscal years.)
