Dynamics CRM Online, Microsoft’s hosted customer relationship management service, delivers marketing, sales, and customer service capabilities. Overall subscription licensing costs are determined by three primary factors: the number of users and the level of features they access, the aggregate amount of storage and resources used, and the product support tier selected. While User Subscription Licenses typically represent the bulk of fees, capacity-based charges can be significant and add-on services can increase those charges. Furthermore, the service does not fully control feature access based on license level, making it possible for customers to inadvertently fall out of compliance without notification.

CRM Online Overview

CRM Online is Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM product delivered as an online service rather than as an on-premises product. The CRM product family combines a core customer relationship management (CRM) product with other Microsoft-hosted services to deliver marketing, sales, and customer service capabilities. Some customers also use the services as a platform for custom business applications (such as personnel tracking, logistics, and recruiting applications).
