Charts & IllustrationsCRM Online Offerings Mapped to Dynamics 365 (Online)
Dynamics 365 (online) subscriptions are available by application and in plans that include access to multiple applications. However, comparisons to previous Dynamics CRM Online subscriptions are not always clear, and customers will need to evaluate required functionality by user to determine whether to license by application or plan.
The illustration maps previous CRM Online User Subscription Licenses (User SLs) to new Dynamics 365 (online) subscription offerings. Prices quoted are in U.S. dollars per user per month, with an annual commitment, and represent the highest a U.S. business customer would pay.
Comparing previous subscription levels to the new format is not straightforward. The previous User SLs provided access to a broad range of features, whereas the new application-based licensing provides access to just features required to perform a function, such as Sales. For some, the cost of the new subscriptions may be less expensive, whereas for others it will be higher, and many users that need access to features or data in multiple applications will find the plans less expensive than licensing the applications separately.
