Delve features deliver personally targeted documents and other information on Office 365 user profile sites. The intent is to help users quickly discover people and documents of interest. Shown here is a user profile site with Delve features, viewed by the user associated with the site.
Office 365 user profile sites are automatically provisioned for each user, providing a standard way for the user and the organization to publish contact information, organization, interests, expertise, and other information about the user. They are descended from SharePoint Online My Sites and are variously labeled About Me, Me, and the “people experience.”
Some notable Delve-branded user profile features include a shareable Favorites list of links (left) and links to the user profile sites of coworkers. The left panel also includes the user’s Boards list: Clicking on a keyword (such as “Resources”) takes the user to a corresponding Board, a Delve-managed feed of content that users have tagged with that keyword.
