Relationships with partners are managed by several groups at Microsoft. The following charts identify some of the people whose work can have a significant impact on partners, in the OEM group, the Developer and Platform Evangelism Group, the Enterprise and Partner Group, and Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners group.

OEM Partner Organization

The OEM organization, which reports to Kevin Johnson, group vice president for worldwide sales, marketing, and services, deals with OEM partners worldwide. This chart illustrates a subset of that organization, with an emphasis on roles that are most likely to affect partners.

 

 

Developer and Platform Evangelism Group

ISVs are critical to Microsoft’s success, and Microsoft’s Developer and Platform Evangelism Group, which reports to Eric Rudder, senior vice president of the Server and Tools Division, has numerous staff devoted to cultivating these partners and encouraging them to use Microsoft platforms and tools.
