Analyst ReportAudio Conferencing Expands Availability, Adds Operators
- Audio Conferencing dial-in for Teams meetings will soon be available for all Microsoft 365 Enterprise plans at no additional cost.

- These changes could reduce the cost of accommodating dial-in attendees of Teams meetings and provide dial-in capabilities in more regions.
Effective Mar. 1, 2022, Audio Conferencing dial-in capabilities will become available at no additional cost for Microsoft 365 Enterprise plans and most Office 365 Enterprise plans, although dial-out capabilities and toll-free numbers will still incur additional costs. Operator Connect Conferencing, now generally available, enables customers to use Microsoft-partnered public switched telephone network (PSTN) operators for Audio Conferencing capabilities in place of Microsoft’s PSTN service. Customers will be able to leverage these capabilities to provide dial-in access to Teams meetings in geographies not supported by Microsoft and at lower cost.
