Analyst ReportAzure Notebooks Provides Jupyter Environment
- Jupyter notebooks incorporate narrative text and runnable code to document processes such as data analysis and machine learning.
- Sharing notebooks containing approved processes can speed data analysis and improve its quality.
- Azure Notebooks, in preview, provides an environment for authoring, running, and storing Jupyter notebooks.
- Some Azure services use notebooks and integrate with Azure Notebooks.
Jupyter notebooks, an open source standard, have become popular with developers, data scientists, and academics for describing and demonstrating processes that typically start with raw data and arrive at usable results. The technology is supported by services and tools for tasks such as machine learning and other data analysis. Azure Notebooks is a Microsoft-hosted environment for working with Jupyter notebooks, which can be used with Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning and Azure Sentinel.
Jupyter Notebooks Narrate Data Processing Tasks
Jupyter notebooks are interactive documents that explain and demonstrate a process with text, code, and generated output such as data tables and charts. For example, a notebook may show the process of importing raw data from a source; preparing the data with several steps of culling and formatting; and training and running a machine learning model with the data.
