- New versions of the product will continue to be released three times a year and require Software Assurance coverage.
System Center Configuration Manager version 1902 is now available. Configuration Manager is Microsoft’s primary product for managing clients, including deploying, configuring, and inventorying software. This latest version could help customers manage larger deployments of Windows 10 from within Configuration Manager, manage rolling upgrades to Office 365 ProPlus and other software, and prevent runaway Azure charges. Configuration Manager accessibility has been significantly improved, but organizations must update systems running the console software to .NET 4.7 or newer.
