An interim update and detailed roadmap have been announced for Dynamics CRM Online, the Microsoft-hosted customer relationship management (CRM) service. Dynamics CRM Online enables customers to manage sales, marketing, customer service, and other functions using Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM 4.0 software hosted on shared hardware in Microsoft data centers. The recent and planned service improvements could interest organizations that would like to outsource CRM hosting while retaining the ability to customize their CRM installations and integrate them with on-premises systems.

May 2010 Service Update

The latest (May 2010) version of Dynamics CRM Online delivers several new features. The most notable are as follows:

GP synchronization. Organizations can synchronize customers and other data from Dynamics CRM Online with Dynamics GP 10 and the just-released GP 2010. Dynamics GP organizations can get the first year of Dynamics CRM Online service at the introductory price of US$19 per user per month (down from roughly US$44) through June 30, 2010.
