- Dynamics GP released an evergreen version in Oct. 2019 that dropped the version number.

- Migrating to Dynamics 365 Business Central is a potential alternative, but it requires a new implementation.
Dynamics GP is Microsoft’s server-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) product for small to midsize organizations. GP is sold and supported by Microsoft partners and is typically customized and extended with industry-specific add-ons. GP competes with Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft’s hosted service, which is based on the Dynamics NAV software. Business Central continues to receive GP-specific functionality to entice customers away from GP. (GP servicing is highlighted in “Dynamics GP On-Premises Timeline”.)
