  • The Intune Data Warehouse enables reporting about an organization’s devices and applications through Power BI and third-party tools.
  • Reports could help organizations identify devices running older versions of applications or devices out of policy compliance.
  • The Intune Data Warehouse is not a tool for real-time monitoring or long-term historical analysis.

Intune is a Microsoft-hosted service that provides mobile device management (MDM) and application management for all major mobile device platforms, as well as Windows 10 and macOS. The Intune Data Warehouse enables customers to analyze and report on data logged from their Intune-managed devices.

Management Data Warehouse and Analysis Tools

The Intune Data Warehouse includes two interrelated components:

  • A structured data store that contains logged data from an organization’s Intune tenancy, updated nightly
  • A Power BI (.PBIX) file with reports that use data from the data store.

(To view an example of the Power BI report, see the illustration “Intune Data Warehouse and Power BI“.)
