  • A new range of Intune settings closely resembles traditional Windows Group Policy Objects.

Intune administrative templates, which became available in July 2019, enable a broad selection of configuration enforcement controls over Windows 10, the OneDrive client software, Office 365 ProPlus, and recent versions of Office Professional Plus. They offer some of the capabilities of Windows Group Policy Objects (GPOs) without Active Directory.

Intune’s administrative templates allow Intune administrators to deploy and maintain configurations on Windows 10 devices, including recent releases of Microsoft Office client software. Examples of administrative templates available through Intune include the following:
