Microsoft Purview: The Collected Services

• Microsoft Purview is a family of legal and regulatory compliance services available in Microsoft 365 suites.
• Purview services are only licensed as a part of a suite, not freestanding like Defender services.

Microsoft Purview is a family of both legal and regulatory compliance services that must be licensed as a part of Microsoft 365 E5, E5 Compliance, or E5 Compliance mini suites, discussed below.
