  • The Microsoft Store on Windows (Microsoft Store) is getting AI-enabled features to help customers find AI-enabled applications and help developers promote their applications.
  • The new features will help educate customers about AI-enabled applications and find the best application to suit their needs.

Although none of the new AI-enabled Microsoft Store on Windows (Microsoft Store) features appears to warrant the Copilot brand, these new features will help educate customers about AI-enabled applications, find such applications in the store, and help developers promote their applications in the store.

This report discusses customer and developer features separately, but some features may help both groups.

Microsoft Store AI Features for Customers

New features in the Microsoft Store that help customers find the application they need include the AI Hub, AI-generated review summaries, and application restore.

AI Hub is a new curated section of the Microsoft Store that features information on the “best AI experiences” in the store that have been tested for security, family safety, and device compatibility. Developers can work with Microsoft to have their applications featured in the AI Hub.
