Partner, U.S. Marketing Chiefs Swap Roles
Two longtime sales and marketing executives have swapped roles, bringing in a new leader for the company’s partner programs as the revamped Microsoft Partner Network approaches important milestones in Oct. 2010.
Allison Watson, formerly the corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Group (WWPG), has swapped positions with Jon Roskill to become corporate vice president of the Business and Marketing Organization (BMO) for the United States. Watson had been overseeing the partner group since 2002 and was a key liaison between the company and its large network of partners. In her new role, she will oversee U.S. marketing and strategic business development, including providing customers with information about the company’s cloud computing offerings. She will report to Robert Youngjohns, the president of sales and marketing for North America.
