A new version of Windows Live OneCare released in Nov. 2007 continues to deliver basic protection against malicious software, while enhancing computer health features by focusing on multicomputer management, performance and reliability tuning, and backup. However, because OneCare supports Windows XP and Vista only, it may not be a good fit for families with Macs or other non-Windows computers.
