Preview Industry Clouds and Solution Accelerators

• Microsoft has announced additional industry clouds, Manufacturing and Sovereignty, which are in preview.
• Open-source industry solution accelerators are available, which may become industry clouds.
• Industry clouds and accelerators can help organizations develop and deploy industry-specific solutions.

 

This report is one of a series focusing on Microsoft’s industry clouds; for an introduction to industry clouds, see “Industry Clouds 2022 Update: Introduction” on page 3 of the Sept. 2022 Update. Microsoft industry clouds provide cloud applications, services, and data models customized for specific vertical industries. However, they are not finished services and will likely require developer or partner assistance to create production applications and solutions, for example, to integrate with existing enterprise systems and/or databases. This report covers two industry clouds that are announced but not released, as well as solution accelerators for other industries.
