Microsoft’s main site for volume licensing is www.microsoft.com/licensing. Customers will find links to important documentation, such as product use rights, and product lists, briefs that provide further explanations of licensing policies, and to specific volume licensing programs.

Product List

Microsoft’s “Product List for Volume Licensing” document, updated monthly and posted at www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/userights/PL.aspx, lists all products available through volume licensing, Software Assurance (SA) upgrade rights and benefits, the pool that each product is in, how many points a purchase is worth, and some qualifications for the product’s use (such as the restriction that a single copy of an Office suite cannot be broken into its components and used on different computers). The Volume Products List also describes current product promotions and the SA benefits that come with each product and volume agreement.
