Oracle database technologies and business applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and others, are popular choices for enterprises and are often business-critical systems of record. In addition, Oracle provides its own Linux distribution based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), which it recommends for its applications. Microsoft and Oracle provide solutions and guidance for running Oracle software in Azure or in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with high-speed connections to Azure.
