Analyst ReportSecurity Center for Microsoft 365 Generally Available
- The new Microsoft 365 Security Center provides a single Web portal for management of Microsoft 365 E5 Security services.
- The portal provides dashboards, reporting, and a Microsoft 365 Secure Score that combines data across secured devices, identities, applications, and infrastructure.
- The new portal is still evolving and currently relies on other Microsoft 365 E5 Security Web portals like Microsoft Defender ATP and Azure ATP.
A new stand-alone Web portal is available for managing the services included in the Microsoft 365 E5 Security suite and the Microsoft 365 E5 suite that includes it. (Microsoft 365 E5 is sometimes errantly referred to as “Microsoft 365 E5 Enterprise.”) Organizations should ensure security administrators are aware of the new portal, as it is likely to expand in capabilities and should be the starting point for administrators and security experts looking to manage Microsoft’s premium security services.
