SQL Server 2008 SP2 is available for download and includes a rollup of fixes provided since SP1, as well as providing three features originally available only in SQL Server 2008 R2:

Reporting Services in SharePoint Integrated Mode SP2 allows SQL Server 2008 systems to provide report server integration with SharePoint 2010 and enables SharePoint 2007 products to connect to SQL Server 2008 report servers. Not all SharePoint 2010 features are compatible with SQL Server 2008 SP2.

SQL Server 2008 Instance Management provides multi-server management functionality in the form of the Utility Control Point, enabling policy management, resource utilization, and deployment of Data-tier Applications from a central console. SP2 enables SQL Server 2008 systems to be enrolled into and managed from the Utility Control Point.

Data-tier Application (DAC) Support provides a mechanism to deploy and manage SQL databases as applications. SP2 enables DAC deployment and management to SQL Server 2008 SP2 systems.
